But it's the part most people skip. You don’t know if you’re solving a real problem until someone is willing to pay for it.
People often think specialising means choosing a g People often think specialising means choosing a genre, like commercial vs wedding photography. I used to think that too. But I’ve come to realise a specialty can also be how you work. Mine is figuring out exactly what the photo is meant to do, and then working hard to deliver that. For me, that is mostly working for various businesses selling something, but can also be telling someone’s family story, or making wall art... that’s the part I care about most.
