Someone challenged my last post and said you cant Someone challenged my last post and said you cant edit a wedding in 2 hours haha. So I grabbed a past wedding before my new system and timed it. Start: files are downloaded into one folder (2547 images shot). First Cull, AI picking images to edit, 7 min. Check cull: fine tuning 17 min. First edit: Ai edit, 3min. Check edit: tweeking edit, 44 min. Blog post: 23min. Album: 35 min. Total 2hr9min. Anyway, thats one of the reasons why I can charge what I do, deliver a great result, and be super happy with the experience.
Had an interesting conversation with another photo Had an interesting conversation with another photographer about business. It's probably a bad idea to compare prices without knowing what money model they are using. As an example, I am a lot "cheaper" than most of my peers at weddings, yet... I keep more money per job because of the work I have put into my systems (e.g., 2 hours to edit and deliver a wedding vs the more typical1-2 days). All I am saying is when you look at others, be careful about projecting your own beliefs or circumstances on them, it may not be apples to apples.
