For something unique, try fantasy art photography. Before any cameras are touched we need a concept. I can help you develop an idea or you may have a strong feeling already for what it is. With these sort of shoots there is often a lot of editing to do afterwards so it might be a week or so before you get the shots
I am a relaxed photographer. We are going for interesting and cool results which will come half from me and half from you. I like natural light but if that’s not right for the theme then we can rock the studio lights.
As well as getting nice photos, you should have fun during the shoot. Most people are not models so I can give some direction and pose suggestions. Along with the key shots that are the main goal, we can also bet some general photos as well so you will get a range of pictures.
Fantasy Art Photography FAQ
What does it cost?
It depends on the time and effort put into the shoot. Typically a photoshoot is 1-2 hour of shooting, and a day of professional editing so falls under my full day rate on my pricing page. The cost can go up if more time is needed either for shooting or special edits.
How do I book?
Just send me a message, but make sure you mention your preferred date so I can check my calendar and the theme or style you are wanting. A $50 non-refundable deposit is needed to confirm your booking.
How do I select a fantasy art photographer?
Have a look at each photographer’s examples and make sure you like the style of the pictures they make generally. You want to make sure you have similar tastes to them as well as see people they shoot with a similar style to you. Maybe follow them on social media to see consistency and their personality.
What if I need to change the date or cancel?
You will lose your deposit if you cancel the shoot after booking. Other money paid will be refunded (unless costs have been incurred eg hiring a location).
How do I prepare for the shoot?
I work with all sorts of people. People can be relaxed or detail orientated, but everyone needs to go into the shoot with an understanding of the theme. The best way to do that is by having a chat at the time of booking and to look at similar results by me. The main things you will need to decide on is the location and wardrobe. I can help out with posing and direction at the shoot if I know what you are hoping for as a result.
When will I get the photos?
I normally send through everything within a week but will let you know if that’s not going to be achievable.
How many photos do I get from a fantasy art photography session?
People sometimes want to know how many photos and it’s really hard to estimate as it depends a lot on you and what happens during the shoot time.
